I’m a former NBC writer/producer turned author, self-care newsletter publisher + podcast host. Being a producer taught me a ton about being creative, resourceful + super optimistic. The biggest thing I learned though was how to create something out of thin air. Which is exactly what it can feel like to make room for self-care.

Through The P.O.P. Society, I curate and share real-life experiences and doable tips to promote self-love, self-care, and wellness.

As a mother, I’ve often looked for a safe space where I felt represented. Seeing the need for more representation, I also created The Black Mom Squad. It’s a hub for Moms to share their joys, frustrations, and culture with other moms who get it.

My mission is to inspire women in general and Moms in particular to pursue their happiness. Self-care and wellness are about more than vitamins and spa time. We need to make room for the self-care that allows room for our dreams and our well-being. I hope to be an inspiration in that space.

Last thing, just so you know, I believe “why not?” is an acceptable answer to anything you can dream up.
